Most stable version? : Technical Support

Hi all, I figured I’d ask on here as the support team haven’t replied to my question other than the Ai assistant. I’m about to start a tour and just wondered what has been the most stable version for you all? I’ve been running 24.01.07.12 for last couple years and it’s been absolutely rock solid, but now I’m adding movers they’re not moving very smoothly. I’ve now updated to 25.10.14.5 and that seems ok though I have had one crash. Lastly, I currently use midi to change my banks and programs, but I noticed that seems to be causing people to have crash issues. So am I better to automate the banks and program changes instead? The show plays without stopping so I don’t need a midi controller to change songs or sections. I wondered if automating it would be more stable. Thank you! Oli

That seems to be the most stable current version right now. Everything else that's newer causes program breaking issues. Not really sure what's going on with this company as it's been 6 months without an updated stable version. Just make sure you put your show through a bunch of tests to make sure. I run my bands lights with midi cues, and there's nothing more embarrassing than having to restart a program between songs because the program is causing the lights to malfunction.

Yeah I had previous versions crash before mid show and it wasn’t great. That’s why I loved version 24.01.07.12. It was rock solid. I just wished it could handle movers better. I’ll give this a go, I’ve had a couple crashes on startup and it struggled to find the DMX controller. But it finally got going. So I’ll have to see I guess. 2 solid days of pre production and stress tests. It’s concerning to see there’s been no update for several months and no support. I really don’t want to have to migrate away from their software but the lack of stability is so distracting mid show.
