I have this boombox that we use with our radio station. We recently added pixelated LED tape.
The controllers run off an app, but are pretty junky for creating custom colors and patterns.
I'd like to get something a little nicer that I could run off a computer (I have both Mac and PC inside the trailer). I'd like to be able to make the LED tape around the speakers pulse different than the rest of the tape (they are on different controllers currently), have different colors that match our different station colors, etc.
It seems like I could do this with an Opto and the ELM software. Is that true? What else would I need? Is there a better way to do this?
