The laptop or PC is dead, and there is no way to deactivate then transfer the license using the old device. The alternative way is to open and access the registered email of the old Mac/Windows that used for the ENTTEC account, you can do the transferring of license from the old device to the new device that you are now using, as long as license transfer/usage still not reaching the full reset counts.
1. To do this, login to the ENTTEC account using the registered email and password, then on the Dashboard, click MY LICENSES menu.
2. Next, click on VIEW LICENSE button.
3. Here, you can see your old Mac's license status. If it's still active you have to Deactivate it in order for you to activate/transfer the license to your new device. Now, click
Deactivate button below.
4. Now, navigate to your EMU, click Settings menu (The gear icon in the upper right most side), click LICENSE tab. Copy the Hardware ID of your new device.
5. Then go back to your Enttec Account's License Information, Click Get Offline Key, and Paste the Hardware ID that you've copied from EMU. Click GET KEY.
6. An Offline License Key will be automatically generated, copy it and go back to EMU.
7. In EMU, click OFFLINE LICENSE, and paste the copied generated Offline license key. Click Change.
8. You will see that the license activation is successful.

If the license usage has been exhausted, the reset counts have been used up, or the license has expired and can no longer be transferred, you can still use the Free EMU account to control your moving head lights on Windows 10 or 11. However, certain features will not be available with the Free account compared to the Premium version.
